METEOTREK SOIL MULTI is a new weather station designed for multilevel measurement of soil temperature and moisture. Our company has become the official representative of the well-known manufacturer of professional soil sensors, Sentek.
METEOTREK SOIL MULTI weather stations are mostly designed for the automation, control, and management of irrigation systems. The structural feature of the sensors is that they are placed inside a solid housing to simultaneously measure the state of the soil at every 10 centimeters. Depending on the user's needs and the cultivated crop, the station can be equipped with sensors for 30, 60, 90, and 120 cm, thereby measuring from 3 to 12 soil layers below the surface.
The final stage of sensor integration into METEOTREK software and the installation of coefficients for automatic calibration of sensors based on the soil type in the field is currently underway.
Optionally, METEOTREK SOIL MULTI stations can be equipped with rain, air temperature, and humidity sensors, as well as wind speed and direction sensors. The standard configuration provides continuous operation for up to 2 years from the built-in battery. When connecting additional sensors, the use of a solar panel is recommended as an alternative power source and battery charger for the station.
